Humans, being made in the Image of God, knowing right from wrong, can choose to supress their animalistic Impulse to fight back, run, or hide. In a similar way God sends us all such Impulse, give this people money, decline a drink, say sorry, but because humans also have an animalistic nature which opposes God's Impulse. It says you might need the money, one drink won't hurt, it's not my Fault. Similar, as I was on my way to the kitchen, I felt the Impulse to write a book. Only I was obedient to the God's Impulse and turned right into my office and began writing in that very moment.
