Tigran Petrosian Club

Hi everyone - we have 2 daily matches currently open for registration - both intended as celebrations of Petrosian - one against the other big Petrosian club (to celebrate 2023 being 60 years since Petrosian became world champ) and the other against a Spassky themed club (Spassky played Petrosian for the title in 66 and lost and in 69 when he won). Currently both opponent teams have more players registered than we do - so if you fancy either or both do sign up for those 👍🏻 

Hi everyone. Have arranged for a daily match starting in 1 weeks time, the other team had wanted it to be for beginner/intermediate rated daily players (400-1000) which I think is fine, think we have enough players in that category. So if you're in that category for daily rating and fancy it do please register 🙂 2023 marks 60 years since petrosian became world champion, so if the match has a theme that's the theme! Hi everyone 🙂 we have a vote chess game on going now, please do join in if you fancy it. I'm also trying to find other clubs to agree to a daily match against us... Maybe in honour of 2023 being 60 years since Tigran Petrosian became world champion! I'll also be sharing some info about books on petrosian from my ever growing collection, particularly if anyone has any questions about petrosian books very happy to answer if I can!
