Has anybody watched the combat gods youtube series

What is it???

I saw this anime called Thermae Romae Novae and the mangaka was doing a lot of comments related with her manga, I really hated it. I wonder what is your opinion with manga's commments? in my case, it is annoying because it takes me out of the story inmmersion

Hello everyone, It's Andrew here. I know it's been two months since I posted part 8 and I know that many of you have been waiting for this for awhile now but before I release the next part just a little bit of quick announcements. The first being that I have a girlfriend now and I know what you might be thinking "what does that have to do with us the readers" well it affects you guys in two ways. One it means that it will take slightly longer to write these stories and two it means I will have less time to be writing these stories so please be patience. Secondly, I have great news to you the readers. After I finish posting this and wake up later on I will have a little forum asking you "the reader" would like to be a part of my story as I know some of you might be interested in that! Thirdly, I have returned as an admin so if you guys have any questions feel free to ask me. Also regarding this I want you guys the fellow community members to know this. I know that we haven't been doing much or being much active due to limitations with our time. However, I want you guys to understand that we are working for you guys as well. So please give our fellow SA's and Admins a congrats for everything they try to do for you guys and yes it may not see like much as been done but they putting you guys first and they will have some other upcoming stuff for you guys! Anyways, that's all I wanted to share! I hope you guys enjoy the story! Previously we had last left off with our fellow survivors getting off the USS Enterprise! (As the night slowly continues on, a horde of infected are outside the naval base. The soldiers turn off the electricity and silently alert the entire base. Soon all soldiers and naval personnel are waiting for them to move so they can open the gate and start eliminating them. Soon after 5 minutes they get their chance and silently eliminate the horde without causing a single noise.) (Meanwhile on the other side of the gate) Akito Yama: Hmm? (sees a new horde by the gate) I could kill them and continue relaxing before continuing my main plan later or I can do it now and watch the chaos unfold here. Can’t have these people here thinking that there is hope in this dystopian world! I will end their pain and suffering earlier! Yes! Yes! This is perfect indeed and the best part they will think it will be an accident! (As Akito talks to himself the power comes back on and it intrigues the infected. Akito notices and goes back to his living area. After a while the infected calm down and just roam around by the fence. After a couple of hours passed from Akito revealing his plan, dawn begins to start and everyone from USS Enterprise, Pyotr Veliky, and Admiral Nakhimov start to get ready to depart. While everyone is getting ready to say farewell to the crews. Akito decides to strike.) Akito Yama: (goes to the horde by the gate) Well well! It’s time for you guys to get the party started! (Cuts the fence and leaves the area) Let's see how they react to this! (Little did Akito know that a camera captured everything he just did which would later be his down fall) (Meanwhile back at the loading docks) Crowd of Civilians, Soldiers, and port personnel: Farewell to all of you! Captain Yuki and Admiral Ivan: Farewell to you all! Until we meet again! Radio Operator: You're clear to disembark! Radio: static.. Understood! Captain Yamagumo out! (As they start to leave Ray Duque III asked if he can come along with the rest of crew with Charlotte) Ray Duque III: Hey! Can I come along! I’m trying to reach India real quick! Captain Yamagumo: Well you're in luck! We are heading there along our way to a new naval base. Sure you can come along with your dog! But please watch over her as we will be traveling through rough areas from time to time. Ray Duque III: Understood! (As the let Ray Duque III on the ship and leave the dock they suddenly see chaos unfold in the naval base) Tony: What is going on there was no infected there earlier! Kaito: Beats me but we can’t do anything about it right now! (As they watch the chaos unfold from the deck a sudden sound hits the air instead of screaming; the sound of bullets being fired are heard throughout the area and the soldiers manage to stop the horde. Many survivors were killed in the attack and the remaining soldiers and civilians go to patch the holes in the fence while the port workers clean up the infected bodies and burn them so they don’t come back to life) Naval Base Commander: What happened here! Who is responsible for this mess!  Soldier: We don’t know sir! All we know is that someone here cut open the fence and let them. From the cut on the fence it seems like someone cut it open with a sword. Naval Base Commander: (yelling at the radio operator) Well don’t just stand there check the cameras for pete sake! Radio operator:  Yes Sir! (As they check the cameras and rewind slowly! The find the culprit and go back to the main area where this all started) Naval Base Commander: So it was Akito Yama! Well then! (starts to survey the damage) well it makes sense that he did this since he is the only one that was missing during the farewell! (That evening) (Three soldiers start going towards the area where Akito was last seen) Soldier #1: Akito Yama! Where are you? We just want to talk to you. Akito Yama: (comes out of hiding) Is there something a matter? Soldier #2: Yes! The base commander would like to see you. Akito Yama: I see then. Soldier #3: Well then follow us. But before you come with us the commander asks that you leave your sword behind. Just for safety reasons. Akito Yama: (puts his sword down) Very well then! But hopefully we will finish this conversation before dinner because I'm starving. Soldier #1: It will indeed! (As they walk Akito Yama to the Naval Base Commander. Akito doesn’t realize that this is his last day) Soldier #1: We have arrived! Soldier #2: This way please (The walk for about five minutes before they reach the commander’s office) Naval Base Commander: Welcome Akito Yama! Please close the door behind you! Akito Yama: (Closes the door behind him) Hello Commander! What is today’s meeting about? Naval Base Commander: That’s what I want to know, Akito Yama! Tell me do you have anything to say about today’s attack on the base! Akito Yama: (sweating nervously) I don’t know what you are talking about! Naval Base Commander: Well since you won’t tell me why! I will say it myself then. Akito Yama I know that you cut the fence down and let them in! So tell me why did you do it! Akito Yama: Well I won’t tell you! Naval Base Commander: Oh that’s fine! (pulls out gun and clicks back the hammer) You will not be alive for long.  Akito Yama: (trying the door to escape but it has been blocked by the soldiers) Damn You!  Naval Base Commander: (pulls the trigger) Too late for that now. (As the commander puts the gun away he orders the guns to take his lifeless body away and to burn it before he turns. After that he prepares a speech to tell the people what Akito did. Meanwhile the soldiers burn his body and buries him along with all the other dead infected) (The next morning) Naval Base Commander: (in briefing room with all remaining soldiers, survivors, and naval personnel) Good Morning everyone! I called for you all here today because of an announcement about yesterday's attack. There was not a breach but rather someone destroyed a part of the fence and them through. (Audible gasps can be heard throughout the room) Yes! Yes! I know you all are wondering who would do such a thing. However we looked through the cameras and found out that Akito Yama was the culprit behind yesterday’s massacre. (more gasps are heard)  Do not fret ladies and gentlemen. I have taken care of the situation along with our soldiers and Akito was executed as of last night. That is all that I needed to say to you all, have a great day and a good morning.  ( As the people leave the briefing room and head to the mess hall they slowly question everything they knew for the past few weeks. As they slowly try to picture the reasoning behind Akito’s betrayal and his reasoning behind this attack they eventually come up with no clues that could help them identify why he would do such a thing. Meanwhile, the commander of the naval base radioed the USS Enterprise, Pyotr Veliky, and Admiral Navikhov.)  Radio: (static) Hello, come in USS Enterprise, Pyotr Veliky, and Admiral Navikhov! I repeat come in USS Enterprise, Pyotr Veliky, and Admiral Navikhov Captain Yamagumo: We read you loud and clear! What is the matter? Radio: I have bad news regarding yesterday’s attack!  Captain Yamagumo and Admiral Ivan: (in unison) Well what happened! Radio : (Static) Well we found out who was behind the attack! Captain Yamagumo: Who was it? Radio: It was Akito Yama! Admiral Ivan: It was him? You must be kidding right? Radio: (more Static) Yes it was! Captain Yamagumo and Admiral Ivan: (in unison again) What did you do to him? Radio: (static and buzzing sounds) We executed him and burnt his body to make sure he doesn’t turn. Captain Yamagumo: How did he do it? Radio: He cut the fence with his sword and made a large hole wide enough for them to come in. We were able to stop the attack but with a heavy loss of life. We lost 33% of the civilians and 2% of soldiers and base personnel. The base is intact and we patched everything up and the surrounding area is clear but we continue to monitor the area due heavy gunfire used during the attack. Captain Yamagumo: Good! Keep the base intact in case we need to refuel. You are the only operating naval base that we know is operating in this area. Pearl Harbor is still functioning and continues to radio contact us! Keep in contact with us so we can relay any information to Pearl. Radio: Understood! Over and out! Good luck on your journey Admiral Ivan and Captain Yamagumo! Admiral Ivan: Likewise! Captain Yamagumo: You too as well! (immediately talks to the radio operator) Get me in contact with Pearl! Radio Operator: Understood sir! (on radio) USS Enterprise to Pearl! USS Enterprise to Pearl, do you read us! Radio: (static) This Pearl we read you loud and clear!  Captain Yamagumo: Get me the Admiral or the highest person in charge in that radio room asap! Radio: On it sir! (radio goes silent for a few minutes and then comes back on)  Radio: Hello Captain Yuki this is the Pearl Harbor Naval Commander! What is it Captain? Captain Yamagumo: I have good news and bad news!  Radio: (static) Well what happened? Captain Yamagumo: Well Japan is completely dead, South Korea is gone due a plane crash in Busan and infected Chinese Soldiers arriving to every major city! Lastly the Philippines is overrunned but all U.S Bases are operational and still active with none gone silent! However they have lost all contact with anyone from the outside world after Manila fell! So we are going to be a relay for the bases in the Philippines! Radio: I see that good! At least we still have people fighting and stuff. I’m glad you were able to make contact with them. Also you have permission to relay all information you get from other nations to us as me. In the meantime let the personnel and survivors know they have contact with Pearl Harbor! Over and out Captain! Captain Yamagumo: Yes Sir! Over and Out! (As they continued on their journey to India. USS Enterprise was the main relay hub between the Philippine bases and Pearl Harbor. ) Ray Duque III: Well it’s time for me to take care of my dog and my body!  (As Ray takes Charlotte out on the deck for both of them to get some exercise after resting for two days. Tony, Kaito, Captain Yamagumo, and Admiral Ivan all gather together to discuss their plan of action in case they run into the infected  in India.)  Admiral Ivan: I will go first! I believe that no matter what we need to make sure that crew is trained and the main guns on the cruisers are constantly checked so when we need fire support we have heavy shells raining down. Captain Yamagumo, Tony, and Kaito: Agreed! Captain Yamagumo: Furthermore on that matter we will make sure that our fighter pilots are well trained and rested as well since we will need them to scout in heavily urbanized areas but also maintain distance from the mainland so we don’t bring any infected on board. Admiral Ivan, Tony, and Kaito: Agreed! (Just then Ray pops out of nowhere and speaks) Ray Duque III: Well if need to have an detection system Charlotte can be of great help as she barks constantly when there is infected around and since she has been near people who were bitten she already knows to check for wounds caused by the zombies. Tony: Yes that is true but she would have to stay on the ship because she is too loud and that will bring them here. Kaito: Yes so that means that you and Charlotte will be members of the crew as well. Ray Duque III: It is an honor! Captain Yamagumo: No need for this right now! We have other things to worry about that matter! Just keep you and Charlotte ready in case we need you. Ray Duque III: Understood Sir! (Meanwhile back in the radio room something was unfolding) Intercomms on USS Enterprise: Tony, Kaito, Captain Yamagumo, and Admiral Ivan please report to the radio room. Captain Yamagumo : Let's go gentlemen! (As they raced to the radio room they hear something and eventually they reached the radio room) Radio Operator: You should hear this! Sir! Radio: (static … Then a voice speaks) Hello! Anyone out there! This is the President of Vietnam and I need assistance! I’m stuck on the roof of the abandoned US Embassy building and I need someone to rescue me! I was able to block the zombies from getting to me but I don’t know how long I can last! Please someone come help me !)  … To be continued

Then slowly you realize…this story is going to touch your heart. Stories like I Want to Eat Your Pancreas and Your Lie in April remind us how precious time and memories are. And with April coming soon…those feelings return again.😭 A little sadness.But also gratitude. Because some anime don’t just entertain us… They stay in our hearts forever. 🌸
