I recently renewed contact with the novels of Michael Connelly, "...author of detective novels and other crime fiction, notably those featuring LAPD Detective Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch and criminal defense attorney Mickey Haller. His books, which have been translated into 39 languages, have garnered him many awards." (Wikipedia, 8/6/17) I know of at least two that have been made into popular movies (Blood Work, 2002; The Lincoln Lawyer, 2011), and a TV series, Bosch, for Amazon Prime.
I have enjoyed them all the books and recommend them to fans of 'great' detective fiction. I look forward to seeing the TV films in the future.
