I had this random idea spawned in my mind. What if, every 6 months, there would be a new leader (currently Chye) ? This way, everybody has a chance (even if very low) to become the president of Chye Custom Variants Club. How would it work: To be able to enter the first round, you have to get approval from a fixed number of members (let's say 5). There will be multiple rounds depending on the number of candidates. Each round will eliminate half of the players (the odd half in case of an odd number of candidates). The final one becomes the president of this club. Unlike in real life where you can usually have at most 2 mandates as a president, there is no limit on mandates. How to make the voting process work: There will be a custom position daily chess game so the number of possible moves is exactly the same as number of candidates (for example e4 for @wolyn and e3 for @MistMint; yes I did write random usernames). I may make a special club with my alt (@C4mil0_11) for this. By the way, speaking of alts, you are not allowed to vote with your main AND alt because each member is equal; we don't give any CCVC stocks. When to start? First round will start on August 22 (if ever), because this is the date when Chye gets unbanned. What about the Discord Club? Chye will keep it; votes only affect the chess.com club, because not everybody has Discord. See y'all at the elections!
