We have again two new team matches where you can join! One against Korea and the World, and one against Queen Hunters (they challenged us). https://www.chess.com/clubs/matches/club-coronacion You can join as many team matches as you want (there are 8 open), but we specially encourage you to join those, where our team is outnumbered (the opponent team has more players than we). Meanwhile, our teams are doing very well in the ongoing team matches. Glory to our players!

A couple of members asked what happened to their matches. They joined our club matches but didn't get to play. I explain here what happened, and what to do. When we organize a team match between two clubs, both clubs have a roster. When you enlist in a team match, your name goes to the roster of our club. In some matches, we had more than 10, even 12 players enlisted. That's of course wonderful, because it shows that our members are active and join the matches. But if our opponent team has only 3 players, then it means that only the first 3 names on our list get to play in that match. (There are no more opponents.) Unfortunately, the machine just drops out the others. I dropped myself out in some of these matches, to give my place to the next player in line, so that more members can play. (I have so many games already that it seemed fair.) What can you do if you didn't get an opponent? There are still many places in the current matches, and when they fill up and the games start, we will challenge new clubs, so there will always be new matches that you can join. ====== Lo mismo en español: Algunos miembros preguntaron qué pasó con sus torneos. Se unieron a los torneos de nuestro club pero no pudieron jugar. Explico aquí lo que pasó - y qué hacer. Cuando organizamos un torneo por equipos entre dos clubes, ambos clubes tienen un roster. Cuando te alistas en un torneo de equipos, tu nombre va a la lista de nuestro club. En algunos torneos, tuvimos más de 10 jugadores alistados. The team matches vs Blonde Girls and Bird Watchers have started. Unfortunately, our opponent teams had only 3 players each, so only 3 of our players in each got opponents. The others who registered in these matches don't need to worry. We have now two new team matches open for registration, and the opponent teams have already joined in bigger numbers. These games start latest on 5 April, but they will probably start earlier - as soon as both teams have reached 10 players. Hello everyone! As you may know, we're starting a match against the club "TheFarm". Our roster only has 5 players, and we need at least 7.
