An excellent reference to have in case there were any questions. I browse through various websites and still find conversations about how governments are somehow manipulating the media to say that global warming is not real. This link is for the naysayers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effects_of_global_warming

Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well. The recent catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico has me really in doubt as far as the efficacy of our government (USA) to really enforce environmental rules in place to protect our oceans and wildlife. (Of course one could debate the efficacy of present day environmental legislation.) Corruption and complacency seem to be the culprits. What can we do? Are we at the mercy of the big oil companies like Chevron and Conoco Phillips? I'll call and write my representatives to give them an ear full. The situation strikes home considering I'm a big time fishing and snorkeling fan way back when in the Florida Keys.
Anyone interested in administrating this group? I can't do it anymore...

This article is really interesting to read. An 18-years old student in Nepal invented a solar panel made of human hair. It produces 9 V (18 W) of energy, costs around £23. Here is the link.
