Welcome to our Chess.com club! To ensure a positive and engaging experience for all members, please adhere to the following rules:
Club Etiquette
1. Respect Each Other: Treat all members with kindness and respect. Harassment, bullying, or rude behaviour will not be tolerated.
2. No Spamming: Avoid sending repetitive messages or irrelevant links. Discussions should focus on chess and related topics.
3. Stay On-Topic: We encourage chess-related discussions. Keep conversations relevant to the game, tactics, strategies, and club activities.
4. Constructive Communication: When providing feedback or critique, aim for constructive guidance. Be supportive of members' growth and learning.
Club Participation
5. Active Engagement: Participate in club events, discussions, and activities. Your involvement contributes to a vibrant community.
6. Event Etiquette: If you sign up for an event, please ensure you can attend. Inform the club if you’re unable to participate after registering.
7. Voting and Polls: Participate in club votes and polls actively. Your opinion matters, and it helps shape club decisions.
Chess Conduct
8. Play Fair: Always play fairly and avoid cheating in any form. Uphold the integrity of the game.
9. Respect Time Controls: During club matches, adhere to the specified time controls. Be punctual and considerate of others’ time.
10. No Analyzing During Games: Do not use external assistance or engines while playing in club events. Play your own game!
Administration
11. Respect Decisions: Follow directives from club leaders and moderators. They are here to maintain a friendly and constructive environment.
12. Reporting Issues: If you encounter any issues or witness rule violations, report them to club administration promptly.
13. Suggestions Welcome: Feel free to share your ideas for club activities, tournaments, or improvements! We value your input.
Consequences
Police @pinktiger12 will keep track of every action you make, and will report it to me. The first time is a warning, then the second is another, and the last time is a mute for 24 hours
