As you guys should know, I have been stopped from being active in being social a lot. I have to really focus on my studies. Or else, chess will be stopped forever. Please don't click out of this now. There is more news. Fortunately, this is not for long. The reason this is happening is that I have to break a rating. When I break this rating, I will finally be able to be back with you guys again! I just need a bit of time. Hopefully, I can do it before they think "oh, she can't do it, we have to stop chess for her." If you think its just some kind of online rating, its not. Its USCF rating. Don't judge me by this, please don't. Also, please don't demote me because I am useless. I will still be helping out in the club. Just not as much.

(Hopefully) Sophie: Hailey's bestie Hailey: The main character 12 years old Ashley: Haliey's little sis 3 years younger than her Zane: Haliey's dad Chris: Haliey's older brother 2 6/12 years older than Haliey Story is told by Hailey It has almost been 2 years since my mother passed on. Just like usual, Ashley is annoying Chris as he plays Fortnite. Its been like this since mum passed on, I really miss her. It's now Dec 24. "Hailey" Says dad, "Your bestie Sophie is inviting the family to go to their Christmas party, do you want to come?" I don't even dare to think. "Yes, PLEASE!!" I say. I go outside half an hour later and see 2 very beautiful things on the driveway. "Their turtle doves!" I exclaim. When it is time for the party, I forget the turtle doves at home. Sophie asks me if I like her dress. It is white designed with snowflakes. The words slip out of my mouth, "No Sophie, only maniacs wear that!" Sophie bursts into tears and leaves me. "Wait Sophie, I did not mean that!" Sophie keeps crying and then reponds, "I am telling the whole school if I don't forgive you!" When we arrive home, me and Zane have a deep chat about what happened between me, and Sophie. "Aww, you lil dork!" Said Chris. Dad takes off his shoe and hits Chris with it. "hahaha!" I say "Aww, karma!" Ashley then says, "Is my boyfriend!!" Dad pauses, "Wait, Ashley you have a bf?" "NO DAD," said Ashley. "IT IS A _______ SONG!!" Then dad respawns, "WATCH YOUR LAGUAGE YOUNG LADY!!" The turtle doves were really important to make Sophie forgive me. It is the only thing that breaks the curse. If I can't give it to Sophie by midnight tomorrow, then it will not break any curse. Then Sophie will tell the whole school! I need to tell dad about the doves. The next morning, I tell dad. "What I am about to say will sound dumb but-" Dad interrupts, "WHAT NOW??" I then continue, "I found these turtle doves and if I can't give 1 to Sophie by midnight tomorrow, we will never be friends again!" Dad hesitated, and said as fast as he could, "okay, okay, lets give it to Sophie then!" Dad seemed to be surprised of what he said. We drive to Sophies, and it is now 10PM on Christmas day. We knock on the door. Sophie's mom answers. "Does it have to do with Haliey and Sophie?" Then I say, "yes, yes, yes!!" I enter in and try to tell Sophie about the turtle dove. Sophie just says, "Whatever, I will take one." We hold them in silence for 5 minutes. Then Sophie says, "We make mistakes some times, lets be besties again, and I won't tell the whole school!"
