The next thing I'd like to look into getting for the club is a few DGT Boards/pieces and clocks. These are the boards the professionals use. They automatically record moves, and could be broadcast straight onto our website live. This would be awesome as we could actually have the games recorded from our top players (Ideally I'd love to have at least 3 eventually for the top 3 boards).
The main problem is these run about $1,000 ea. and with our money reserves lower after the higher rent period in Vista, it will take awhile before we can afford even one.
Hopefully our turnout in Escondido continues to be strong, and instead of raising prizes I will likely save towards these instead.
If anyone is feeling generous and wants a cause to donate to, you know who to talk to. :)
