P3,000 PCM Crazyhouse Championship Twenty five qualifying tournaments will lead into the championship, held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from March 28–May 23 at 9:30p.m. The top 6 scorers among previously unqualified players will advance to the championship from each qualifier, with 150 players total moving on to the main championship on May 25. Any PCM member can enter the qualifiers, and all players must qualify by placing in one of the 25 qualifying tournaments to make the championship. Players who have won a prior qualifying spot may participate in future qualifiers, but can only qualify for the championship once. If they place in the top 6, their spot will be passed to the next person in line based on Chess.com's tiebreak system. Players must join the official Ph Chess Mania club https://www.chess.com/club/ph-chess-mania to participate in the qualifiers. You must be a member of the club before you will be allowed to join any qualifier tournament. Crazyhouse is a chess variant where players may drop captured pieces onto empty squares in addition to playing normally. It is often thought of as a two-player version of bughouse chess. Qualifier format and schedule: We will run 25 qualifying tournaments: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from March 28–May 23 at 9:30p.m. Qualifying tournaments will be nine rounds of 2/0 crazyhouse. The top 6 players in each event (except those who have previously qualified) will be invited to play in the PCM Crazyhouse Championship on May. 25. Qualifiers will be invited to a private club and must join to compete in the finals.Qualifiers are open to all, and players may participate in as many qualifiers as they wish.Participants must be a member of the official Ph Chess Mania Club to play. Champion - PhP100.00 B. 2nd - PhP50.00 C. 3rd - Php30.00 D. 4th - PhP20.00 6. In case of tie score. Buchholz Tie-Breaks, Sonneborn-Berger-Tie Break may apply in order to break the score. 7. No post, No result, score 0-0 will be given to both players. 8. No cheating, once caught on cheating, score will be given to the losing opponent even a draw result will occur. 9.
