A. A stale mate is when a side has NO legal moves at ALL. Thus it is a draw.
White plays Qf7?? resulting a stale mate, as black has no legal moves.
This is NOT a stale mate because black has the legal move 1... a5

Absolute Pin- A absolute pin is the piece thats pinned and not move AT ALL
Relative Pin- The pined piece COULD move, BUT will lose something in return.
