Welcome dear chess player,
This topic is here to provide a bit of information about the goals of this group and how this group got formed. McCrow started a topic on the regular forums looking for players or a group that would review games after playing them. We all experienced that many times once a game is done, there is no review and no chat about the game. That’s a shame, because there is a lot to be learned by just looking at your games and discussing them. More people joined McCrows topic and a call came out to form a group. I was reading the topic and since there were no ‘premium’ members that could start the group, I decided to create the group for them. After creation I made McCrow admin, I can not make him super admin, due to the premium-membership requirement. Else McCrow would also be a super admin. That is the short history how this group came along. The thread that started it all is here: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/looking-for-a-practice-group?page=1I hope you enjoy your time here and learn something. Please feel free to use all the tools this site gives us. Open topics if you wish, start a match if you wish. Ask questions, leave comments or critique. Together we can make this group a fun and educational experience. Any input is welcome and if you can, try to help the other members.
Again, welcome, it’s great to have you on board,
Wilbert
