I found Nezhmetdinov's own book on his best games here: http://mediafire.com/?2l49qrdl2odp2wr. It will be great if someone can make pgn files and post at least one of his games everyday. Enjoy it!

Here is something from Rasheed personally, albait published post mortem and edited by Musin (I guess one of his students). It was published some years ago at some of chess sites, I've forgotten where. http://www.filefactory.com/file/b389543/n/musin-teoreticeskie_okoncania_nezmetdinov_pdf Technical endings according to Nedzhmetdinov. In Russian, but you'll guess even if you don't know it. IMHO, everyone should have it, from the complete beginner (whom should actually start learning chess from it), to GM. Corresponding squares in pawn endings should be studied from another source. Enjoy.

Hi guys. I feel we need to make Nezhmetdinov known, particularly to the many fans of attacking chess. He was the master of combinational chess and mentor of the 8th world chess champion, Mikhail Tal. I therefore feel that he definitely deserves recognition on the number one chess site. I envisage this group becoming a prominent, team match winning one in the future and I hope you guys can envisage the same. I will begin using all my associations on this site to further the position of this group over the coming weeks and months, and assistance in this campaign will be greatly appreciated I would like to conclude by stating my vision to firmly establish this group, in remembrance of Nezh, as a great source of inspiration for as many chess enthusiasts as possible, and I'm sure you all share this vision. Thanks guys :) P.S I'll post a few games shortly.

I'm starting a round robin tournament in honour of Nezh. The key feature of it is that st the end everyone submits a game for the brilliancy prize and votes for someone else's. The real winner is the person who plays the best game, something in keeping with Nezh's philosophy. If you would like to join, get back to me below.
This is interesting "I have played four games with the Tartar master and the score is +3 -1 in his favour. Moreover, my solitary win was the result of a silly mistake by my opponent in a position he should never have lost." - Mikhail Tal.

"Nobody sees combinations like Rashid Nezhmetdinov." Mikhail Botvinnik Hello all, I'd like to begin with a few quotations on Nezhmetdinov by other chess players. Nezhmetdinov is "the greatest master of the initiative." - Lev Polugaevsky (International Grandmaster) "Rashid Nezhmetdinov is a virtuoso of combinational chess", and Nezhmetdinov was "a fantastic mathematician" - David Bronstein "His games reveal the beauty of chess and make you love in chess not so much the points and high placings, but the wonderful harmony and elegance of this particular world." - Mikhail Tal Now for some more games: The next one is from 1929 when he was 15 years old
