First of all, it must be understood that the SLCA can't precisely decide when a game is to be played. Thus, the willpower of two players to find a common suitable time slot for playing and to show up on time are key foundations to the entire system. It's the players who themselves decide when to play. For this, the SCLA provides what is called a «Negotiation Forum». For each pairing, one Negotiation Forum is supplied. The pairings / Negotiation Forums for round 1 will be posted inside the «Regular 45|45 Tourney #2; Round 1 Pairings / Negotiation Forums» Forum before Monday, December 9 @ 3:00 GMT. The players will have one (1) week to agree and play. Note that each time some pairings / Negotiation Forums are posted, a notification alert is sent. Once you're notified, it will be of premium importance that you get in as early as possible in order to fasten up the negotiation process and to increase the probability that a game is played. Note that you must negotiate the time slot following the guidelines mentionned in «The Rules». When everything is done as prescribed, 19 games out of 20 are played. Good chess!
