ShiViChess's League consists of 4 divisions (North, East, West, South), with 3 teams in each division. Here's how it works: Each team, when playing, will play 1 team match with 1 day per move and 2 concurrent games, and 2 vote chess games with 12 hours per move: one as white, and one as black. During the first ten weeks, the teams play within their division. Two teams face off against each other for three weeks, while the third team in the subdivision doesn't play any games. This is done for nine weeks, with one extra catch-up week, making ten weeks total. Afterwards, the teams in each division will be ranked from 1 to 3. During the next ten weeks, teams play interdivision games. The teams ranked 1 will face off against each other, the teams ranked 2 will face off against each other, and the teams ranked 3 will face off against each other. This is done for nine weeks, with one extra catch-up week, making ten weeks total. Afterwards, all the teams will be ranked from 1 to 12. From there, we go into a double-elimination playoffs. There are eight rounds, each three weeks long, with one catch-up week between each round. After thirty-two weeks, the playoffs are over, and final standings will be up for everybody to see. If there is a tie, and the two teams have played each other previously in the season, then the results of those games will be used to determine who advances. If they tied there as well, then we will use the catch-up week to play one speed vote chess game between the two groups. The game will be played at 10 minutes per move, so you better be fast!
