With over 180 characters in the franchise, Touhou has been known for its highly colourful and diverse cast of characters. However, with that many characters, there will be overrated and underrated characters in the mix. Today I'd like to ask, which characters do you believe to be severely underrated? Of course, I'll be throwing my own opinion into the mix. First off, PC-98. Outide Mima and Elly, literally everyone is ignored. Unless you count die-hard PC-98 fans. Then another four I can think of are Keine, Parsee, Letty and Hina. They still have a fair amount of popularity around them, but from what I've seen on Reddit and main Touhou Discord servers, I don't see much of them. Keine, outside of Mokou ships and school-related doujins, almost never appears. As for Hina, her one sole purpose is to spin in the meme channels. And yeah, she appears in a couple arts but man she's not known that well. Letty I don't see outside Cirno drawings or breast jokes, and Parsee...I have legit never seen a single artwork of her on Reddit outside of this one Parsee fan who seems dedicated to only drawing her. Next up, newer game characters. Nearly all the characters in TH18 outside Chimata, Mike, and maybe Megumu, receive 0 attention. My beloved Sannyo...In Wily Beast, a fair amount of the characters are alright, but like do you guys even remember Eika or Yachie exist? I sure don't. Then we have CD or manga characters. Akyuu, 3 Fairies of Light, Miyoi, Kasen. Nobody cares about them, like at all. Maribel and Renko have a bit more coverage, I suppose, but not by much. And don't get me started on spinoffs. What confuses me is Immaterial and Missing Power brought in Suika and she's pretty popular, but Hatate? Sumireko? They're main characters in spinoffs, where are their fans? Now those are all characters I barely ever see. Of course, that's just from what I felt. It's possible I missed a bunch, but this is what I could think of. I'm thinking like Marisa would do it because she wants to beat Patchouli (She said she'd let her in the library if she won a game, but Marisa can't win a single one) or Cirno because she doesn't realize using a computer is cheating. Or possibly Nitori, but she'd more likely make her own AI and put it in the AI tournaments.

I ran a Touhou Sort with my audience and sorted every character from worst to best. For top five best we had: 1. Miko2. Eirin3. Momiji4. Alice4 (Was a Tie). Mamizou For five worst we had: 5. Rumia4. Futo (Always falls for the 4 move checkmate)3. Koishi2. Fortuneteller (is dead)1. Shion What Touhou characters do you all think are the best and worst at Chess?

Just came up with this idea early in the morning. I'd honestly love to see Alice, Satori, Patchouli, Yuyuko and maybe even Seiga make another appearance, but i dunno if it can be a good idea

For the 100th anniversary of comiket, ZUN is going to release a new Touhou game (for Steam and hard copy) called the 100th Black Market. The release date is said to be August 14th. Here's what we know so far- Built on the basis of Touhou 18, Unconnected Marketeers, Ability Cards are still a feature in this game. Chimata expected these cards to be nothing more than a fad, but the cards continue to grow in value for unknown reasons. All while this is happening, a black market for these cards has been made. Marisa, as the game's main protagonist, goes out to collect (steal) these cards for herself, while also presumably figuring out what's increasing the value of these cards. That year I was 15, I got to the exhibition which I think that is maybe the best native exhibition in my lifetime.Now the sponsor has get broke so it’s harder to form such a large exhibition in my city,I wish other groups can reform that… 参展那年我15岁，这次展会真的很棒，可能会是我这辈子在国内参加过的最好的。。。主办方（囧某）现在资金链断裂破产了，以后估计没有同城车万展会了。。。希望有人能接手一下

I'm sure all of you know what Moriya Shrine is. I'm not talking about the place in Touhou, I’m talking about the website. Where we all downloaded EoSD for the first time. Where you could get, really, any Touhou game for free. Moriya Shrine recently was closed down due to a DMCA complaint sent by none other than ZUN. Well, ZUN’s officials anyways. Just telling you all, because this really sucks.

My personal favorites are Sekibanki, Sanae, Yuyuko, Sannyo, and Aya.
