Hey, do you want to implement Bare Piece Rule, or just keep playing without it? It won’t affect any of our previous moves, it’s just a slightly different win condition.

Yes, but I suggest to modify it that:
If you only have the rook, you will lose if in your next turn RIGHT after you opps capture your pernultimate piece, you can't capture your opps' one.

Exactly, that’s how the bare piece rule functions. The game ends on the spot.

  Oh, gotcha.
Well, that seems a bit too custom to me, but that's a possibility. I would imagine that if it was down to that point in the game, you could maneuver both your pieces to keep them from getting captured, at which case you'd just agree to a draw.
Why don't you suggest that on the announcement that I linked to, and people can discuss it there.
