I don't think team us NC will participate this year. We didn't have very many interested last time, and it cost us dearly. I'm none too interested i trying to revive interest in a dying group. Perhaps MM2008 will want to do something, and if so then I can be a contact, but if not, count us out.

That is my propose to competition format.
I think we must to make a tournament in a cup format, like Football UEFA Champions League or something like that.
First stage - all matches start simultaneously
4 groups - round robin with 4 or 5 teams each group
2 teams per group advance
Second stage - all matches start simultaneously
2 groups - round robin with 4 teams each group
1 team per group advances
Super Final
2 teams playing for the championship in a single match
Eliminated teams after First Stage could play a friendly (maybe thematic) competition...

It appears that Team USA Northeast, Team USA North-Central, and Team USA Southwest will not be able to participate in the 2015 season.

Yes phinneas, with the creation of one super us team, the smaller regional teams have suffered. There are at most 20 people interested in the pan am league in my group, and I had to post news and reminders constantly to get even that many to show up. I've very little interest in doing that again this year, as we didnt even put up a good showing :P
I would love to participate if I had a dedicated group, but, we all have our own lives to run, and it seemed that many didn't want to play if it wasn't the World League. No matter, you all enjoy, it was an interesting experience last year.

Team USA Northwest is able to play, it's three of the other regional Team USAs that are not up for a new season.
Ahhhh, well soot have anyone contacted them yet and lasked them to join up? Be a shame to lose rhem...

Team USA Northeast was actively trying to shut down earlier this year. Admins for the other two have indicated that there is no desire to play at this time. I'm hoping that there will be a last-minute reprieve but we'll move ahead with the groups we still have. There are still a few countries in the Americas not playing with us yet!
Cool, the more we have is always better compitition for all of us....
This forum will be for the development and discussion of the field for the 2015 Pan-American League season. Interested teams must provide their contact information to share with the rest of the league. We require two active admins (not just interested members) for each team so that communication issues will be minimized.
