Cross 1400 in rapid, blitz
2026 Improvement Goals!
My goals for 2026:
To be able to train consistently, adhering to my plan.
2200 FIDE classical
2500 blitz chess.com
2300 rapid chess.com
2000 FIDE rapid
2100 FIDE blitz
I also want to be able to reach 500 suscribers on yt, and manage to stream and post videos regularly.
My goal is to reach 500 elo in rapid here! I know it's not high but my ADHD brain and chess don't work well together, but I enjoy it a lot! So I want to improve but realistically I am going to improve a lot slower than average person. So 500 it is!
I want to start playing in more otb tournements and potentially win one. i wish for my rapid rating to be 1600-1700.
I lost 170 elo last week in a tilt spiral, but no matter how hard I try, I am not regaining any rating. What do I do?

The best thing you can do is take a break, I know from experience. It can be really tough to recover from tilts, and recovering from a long period of seemingly uncontrollable losing is really frustrating. Just take a break to clear you mind and don't focus on the wins or elo, just take everything move by move and try to have more fun with the game!
I want to reach 700 rapid, 550 blitz and 500 bullet (currently, I am 430 rapid, 300 blitz and bullet)
I would also like to have 1500 games all time and beat a 1000
I was happy to break through 1900 chess.com rapid last week and today I managed to reach my May goal of 1907. My goal for June or earlier this year is 1930.
My goal is to reach 2000 by next summer. We'll see how it goes.
Updated goal: 2300 rapid by the end of the year

Turns out, the reason my rating was 200 points lower. It was because of my own self under-confidence. Like you said, I wasn’t treating chess as a game. I was playing for the rating. It all makes sense. I was taking breaks, but my mindset was fixed incorrectly for good chess
I have updated by goal to 2100 by the end of the year (I recently hit a peak of 1804, so I reached my goal)
I managed to hit my blitz goal of 550 but then I had a small tilt, I'm currently 500 in blitz and rapid now, 1000 games done now and I beat a 900 so I'm almost there for that goal, I technically beat a 1000 but they just never moved which doesn't count, only if they actually play
My goals are
Daily 1000
Rapid 800
Blitz 800
