How about now?

Good

That is really cool! I think you're the first person to make a 3D printed bulldog chess set!😃 I made a wooden one, but it took so long!! (obviously I only made the custom pieces). And I obviously can't make copies quickly. Your set can be mass produced!

vickalan

Here's the wooden pieces (custom pieces were made by modifying an extra set of normal chess pieces).

Could you do board updates with them?

and what happened with benjis pieces

Btw, would it ever be possible to make flat chess pieces like this? Or is designing 3D models difficult? In any case, I think you've made a big accomplishment.😀😀😀

(This is not bulldog though - no witch and no guard)😟

I can play a game (I also made a "custom" 10x8 board). But if I do board updates for online I would have to take a picture and post it after every move. I think that would take longer than just normal graphics.

benji never finished the 3D bulldog pieces. I think his family didn't want him to make a witch because they thought it might be related to the occult. (For me it's just a game. The witch is even in movies like the Wizard of Oz, but every family is different I suppose).😐

If i did the 2D models, it would probably take at least 12 hours to finish one color, maybe even more.

vickalan

Twelve hours of printing time? Is that more than the letter pieces that you made? Also, is the resin expensive?

PandasAwesome

The letter pieces took about 2 hours. Well, the filament is... not really that expensive.

vickalan

Ok, thanks for the information. It's a cool board. 😃
