Report at Link: https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/4th-cycle-of-swiss-open-90m-30s-1-rd-every-2-weeks-start-on-apr-01-new-open-for-registration
We have done 4 cycles so far, where each cycle is running smoothly. I thank you all for the commitment and support. The number of withdraw / Forfeit game are relatively small, and you all are doing great in negotiating and scheduling the game with your opponent in promptly time. We have a small but solid community of Classical Time Control enthusiasts. I will try my best to conduct the regular tourneys continuously from time to time.
The new (5th) cycle) of SWISS OPEN 90m+30s start on Jul 03
Number of Rounds: 5
2 weeks frame between a Round and next Round.
Schedule:
Round 1: Jul 03 - Jul 16
Round 2: Jul 17 - Jul 31
Round 3: Aug 01 - Aug 16
Round 4: Aug 17 - Sep 03
Round 5: Sep 04 - Sep 17
Date/time to play: considering the players are from various Continent, we will never use a fixed time, but instead: you will have 2 weeks time frame, to negotiate with your opponent, to find the best time to play the game within that 2 weeks time frame.
