Anyone know some good gambits for black? The main problem is that white never plays the moves I want. For example, the Albin Gambit, most people play e4. Against e4 i would like to play the Two Knights but most people go for a Ruy Lopez!

Well then you can play the Marshall Gambit

The Schlieman Gambit also works against the Ruy Lopez 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 f5

 Also (and more commonly)known as the Rosseau Gambit.

It's hard to play gambits with Black, for the simple reason that White has the first move.  Gambits with Black are normally unsound.

benko is also considered to be a good gambit for black.

Schliemann is definitely sound, but I don't think it's as aggressive as Marshall or even the Open Ruy anyway.

I have a mania (as both sides) to trade c pawns for d pawns, and b pawns for c pawns. For example, the Wing gambit (an interesting anti-Sicilian)1. e4 c5 2.b4 . Jaenisch Gambit 1. c4 b5. Reti 1. Nf3 d5 2.c4. All are useful in extinguishing the opposition's grasp on the centre.

  I believe "Marshall Attack" is more fiting, but that's just me.  Look at Livitsky - Marhall (1912).  Everything Marshall played was a gambit.  Tushu, I was in a Marshall Attack tournament.  Too bad you missed it.  

   Interestingly, although the Philador appears to be a solid opening, even without the Philador Counter Gambit it most often falls apart into tactical play.  So might as well play the counter gambit.  Why not?

   The Jaenisch Gambit!  also known incorrectly as the Schlielmann Defense to the Ruy Lopez (Schlielmann was not the master who played it) is the Ultimate Latvian Gambit.  Sorry, but who would want to play the Latvian in 25% of their game?  If you can beat a 2500 player with the Latvian then keep on playing it.  Even Tal didn't play the Latvian Gambit. 

  Never heard of the Rosseau Gambit.  This was know as the Jaenisch throughout the 1970's.  Thank God for chess notation.  It will win where the Latvian does not (because of chess data bases).  Only problem is that black is down two pawns in the endgame - but with attacking chances.

   Good posting about the Portugese Gambit.  Believe Tim Harding covers some of those Scandinavian lines in his book  Counter Gambits: black to play and win.  One sometimes gets a Scandinavian while trying to play Alekhine's Defense.

The Rousseau Gambit is after 3.Bc4, f5!?, not 3.Bb5. Playing 3....f5 against both 3.Bb5 and 3.Bc4 makes for a coherent repertoire, although 3.Bc4 takes some research to make it work.

Indeed, the Elephant has done me well.  Not too well in the current Elephant Gambit tournament though!   I guess its because I'm playing against other gambiteers.  Its pretty aggressive and not too much theory out there.  I like these aspects.

Thanks everyone! I have settled on the Evans Gambit, Fried Liver, and Halloween Gambit for white, and the Icelandic and Benko for black.

Latvian Gambit is very good. 1. e4 - e5 2. Nf3 - f5 !?

The Latvian gambit is very near refuted.

The latvian is still more sound than the dreadful rosseau gambit.
