Again, bear with me, cause this is my mind rambling.
I've got this idea; We could start a "branch" of this Community where any CVC Member that has a club that isn't "needed" or is struggling can give us the link. (don't worry, this isn't another version of TAP). We (by that I mean the community) can then give them a "Gift Package" which contains a VC challenge, a CVC Community Club title, and a personalized first sentence of the club description. And if they play a good role in CVC, commit to the club, and we have time, then we can give them more perks such as a full description created by us, more events, a couple forums for activity, a forum ad in CVC, etc. The difference between this and TAP (my admittedly far-fetched and idle club restoration project https://www.chess.com/club/the-aspiration-project) is that there are no promises from the get-go, so it relieves the pressure on both ends to actually need to do anything. And it mutually benefits this Community and the club.
Now, if there's a club that straight-up isn't wanted, then we put it under CVC branding, spoof it up, and run a giveaway some time down the road if we have no memberships/clubs given away at the moment. One at a time!
So, what do you guys think? I feel like this would be a nice way to engage the whole community, without placing any obligations on anyone.
