Analysis Report - analysis process needs better visual feedback during processing.

Issue: There is no way to know that the analysis process has completed.

Fix: It would be nice if there was some animated icon to indicate an ongoing analysis. Then you would know when the analysis has completed. There is a little feedback as the lines are displayed but toward the end the evaluations are not changing, thus no feedback.

There is already progress bar on the left, contains % reached and search depth.

I wasn't clear. I'm referring to the move analysis, not the game analysis.

I would like to know when the computer analysis is finished analyzing a particular position. An animated icon, a dancing pawn, a trotting knight, a spinning dial, an hour glass, a progress bar, something that indicates the analysis is not finished and still processing.

There is not a "stop" moment for analysis. You can leave the engine to analyze a position forever. Each minute devoted, will improve the quality of the analysis

So then what is "Engine Time Limit" for?

I see now. Makes sense. Will discuss with the team

I see your point; I am in favor.

Generally it's when all of the numbers stop moving around  But yeah, I can see how it would help.

One additional observation. When the analysis is considering a forced move line only one line is displayed and the other line slot have an animated icon. Once the analysis is complete the other analysis lines collapse. See screen shots below. In this particular case there is ample feedback about ongoing process.

In the other non-forced move cases deep into the analysis the "moving numbers" don't necessarily move that often and some other mechanism would be an improvement.

Thanks! We have a ticket to fix this already.
