wtf is that chessboard hahahahhaa
Android App Displays Inconsistant Elo Ratings.

Curious bug.
The Android bug does offer some positive features.
Since I know my opponents and I were close in Elo ratings at the time of our game, it is interesting to see on the Android app, how much my opponents have improved or regressed in Elo ratings since we played!
Also, the Android app can display a game where I won against a much higher rated player ( me at 1042 Elo vs. my opponent 1654).
But sadly the Web interface displays the truth about this Game. We were both actually rated 927 Elo at the conclusion of our game.

I'm bumping this bug because is should be something Chesscom might want to fix because of the network traffic it generates.
For each and every opponent displayed in the Games List on Android, the app makes a network call to get the current Elo ratings of opponents instead of using a fixed value Elo rating of opponents from the conclusion of the game.

Interesting. Hopefully, this gets the attention of @Martin_Stahl.

I'm hoping it gets the attention of someone on the development team. Both the iOS and Android Mobile apps have this ridiculous bug built into them.
In addition to generating unnecessary network traffic, I think it also generates unnecessary updates to the App Local Data Storage.

Try going to this Help and Support Club (official chess.com) and make a new forum topic with a clean short description of the problem.

Good luck
On the Web interface Archive, the Elo ratings displayed are from the end of the Game when played. But the Android app Archive displays the current ELO ratings of players and NOT the Elo ratings from when the Game was played.

Also, when a previous Game is loaded in the Android app, the Elo ratings for both players are CURRENT Elo ratings and not the Elo ratings from the end of the Game when played.
I submitted a Feedback Report regarding this back in May 2021 and also posted in a Forum. Games archive and Rating history - inconsistency? - Chess Forums - Chess.com
Is this something that can be fixed?
