Are there chess ladies tournaments that are not on a Tuesday or Thursday evening?

Can someone tell me if there are any OTB tournaments that are not on the evenings of a Tuesday or a Thursday ?

The Jersey womens tournament has started for this year, but fixtures can be played whenever by prior arrangement. Most prefer Tuesdays because that is the day we have access to the Town hall where we are based, but people play at their homes on other nights. If you want further details send me your email privately and I will pass it to the lady who organises the league

Yes I understand, but you are able to arrange privately to play your fixtures whenever you want. You will just have to find an alternative venue because we do not have access to the Town Hall. Alternatively there is a small group who meet fortnightly on a Friday Morning through the U3A. To access this group however you would need to join the U3A (18.00 per year I think) but it offers a lot more activities than just chess.
