if you have two rooks that can move to f8 (a8, f1) then it will say rff8 or raf8

This is correct.
I believe the standard is that if there are two of the same pieces that can move to the same square you denote the file first if they are on different files or the rank first if they are on the same file.
yeah there is see u have 2 rooks and they both have visual for f1 but one rook is on h8 and on is on so they would not know which rook it is talking about so they tell u which position it came from
