It's not a bug. Click on notes on the right side. All the spam is there
Bug in club notes alerts.
Click on this club's Settings on the right side of this page - it has buttons there.
you can then control what alerts you want to get from this club - and from what parts of it.

Thank you, this helped me too.
Geeze. I'm sure that I was on here my yesterday and said, "Thanks, silly me", but it ain't here. Perhaps I need to find the, "Post",button, too. So, "Thanks".![]()
There should be a column of buttons to the right of this screen -
The buttons are actual printed words that one can click on.

If you're not seeing that to the right - then something's wrong.
I could use the Snipping tool - but for now just a plain old .png screenshot ...
See the buttons over to the right?
But there's 10 buttons/features over there.
They're all good.
Thanks, mate. Got it.
Welcome - I added a screenshot too - it got posted just before your thanks.
There is still the issue that when you click on the notification it takes you to the main club page, and then you have to click on notes to actually see the notes and clear the notification (and on the mobile site the links aren't on the right; you have to scroll to the bottom of the page). It's kind of silly that people who want to read the notes have to do extra navigation every time, while people who don't like notes only have to disable notifications one time and they won't be bothered. Am I missing something?
Not every type of discussion is "on topic" or warrants its own forum. The notes section is a good place to socialize and build relationships which can make the community stronger. I would be willing to bet that clubs with an active notes section have higher participation rates in the forums, matches, vote chess etc.
So true. Usually I look on club's notes to see if the club is 'alive'. Here it was very much. And now they just want to make it more dead. Lol.
Will not let me write notes, or anything in a specific club I can do?
Ask one of the Super Admins to un-mute you, i think.
Every time that I open Chess.Com I have an alert for a new note on here. Really odd given that we don't have access to them.
Any chance of having it fixed?
