List of known bugs

Rating ranges will be be respected 100 % in the near future.

Martin0, currently the rating range works in some cases in FFA and also in some cases in Teams. But it never works if a paid chess.com member invites a teammate. Will you fix this too? How will you handle a case when 2 teammates have different range selector settings? Now the server just creates a game with 2300+2000 vs 1100+1200 when both top players have 1600+ range selectors.

I think that the range selector should be able to be overridden. There should be a pop up or something that says, "We can match you in a game, but it will include a player of XXX. Continue?"

@BabYagun, we intend to use the rating range set by the player that sent the invite and ignore the rating range set by the player that was invited. Would you prefer something else?

Martin0, your solution is fine.

Another possible way is to get min and max of the ranges of both teammates. Like you have 1300..2500, I have 1400..3000. Min is 1300, max is 3000, if I invite you the resulting range is 1300..3000. But your solution is absolutely fine too.

@Ne2willdo I was asking for a screenshot for months, and you finally provided one. You are using the gadget wrongly! The bar has two bullets, the left one for the lower bound and the right one for the upper bound. You must increase the lower bound, not decrease the upper bound!

There is another bug: My Pieces Keep disappearing in between games! Often when i am in a winning position, the peices suddenly disappear and i lose!  THIS BUG MUST BE FIXED.

I have not heard of this and I am not sure what your explanation is. First you say that it is in between games which sounds like no game is in progress. Then you say it happens in winning positions and you lose.

What do you mean with disappear? Do you mean they are invisible, but your still able to move them or both invisible and your unable to move them or something else?

How did you lose the game? Did you lose because you were unable to make a move and your time run out?

I meant 'during' the game. The pieces disappear. I can still move them though. How long can you play blindfold chess?

Also, some of my opponent's pieces disappear (not all their pieces). I can't see where they move. Not even the highlight (colored squares that indicate their last move). 

This has been happening for months. 

This bug exists and it usually helps to rewind a move to force the board show the pieces. So, left arrow, then right arrow and you can see your pieces again.

4PC at chess.com has more bugs than features. And instead of fixing those bugs the developer(s) keep adding more useless 'nice' bells and whistles.

I think refreshing the page solves the issue when you can't see opponents pieces?

I don't really expect people to be able to play blindfolded, I just wanted a clearer explanation.

Believe it or not, but fixing bugs is top priority right now. The tabs design just happened to come at the same time as some work on stability/connectivity and some new pairings logic.

Priority #1 Fix the castling bug. It just messes up everything about the game. Mainly, variations change their evaluations completely because of it.

Also, the teammate queen eyes a square can't castle version of it? It happens rarely, so I didn't get to check...

In Chess.com ios app, after your move it shows opponent’s move but still your time is ticking. The game ends with timeout with 0.7 seconds left on the clock. Happened couple of times

 This occured to me today in matchmaking

DO NOT EXPLOIT THIS but I just purchased platinum membership and when I go to lessons, while I'm supposed to get only 5 per week, I can get infinite as long as I don't reload the page or exit the section. 

Isn’t this the 4 player chess club? Plus, there’s already an updated bug tracker forum, this should just be locked smh
