hi
Chess and Music

Silence is my soundtrack.
I love music deeply, but when I play chess, even a single note can pull me away.
In the quiet, I can hear the game breathe — and that’s music enough.

When I'm playing 10+0 or longer, I don't play music, you should spend your time focusing and thinking. Blitz and Bullet I pull out the tunes, I just go with what I like listening to, I'm in a Hamilton phase right now. It just gets me in that happy and bouncy mood which helps me to play faster.

I literally listen to, like, a mix of Bollywood and Hollywood artists as well as a bit of phonk:
The Weeknd, Benson Boone, Arijit Singh, Orgezek and many more artists.

Hiphop(K.dot, Kanye)
Frank Ocean(Blonde, Channel Orange)
These music helped me gain 1000 elo!!
Pop, EDM
These music helped me lose 400 elo!!

It is probably better for my focus to not listen to music, but I do love some pop music, and if I really want to lock in I just pick something without lyrics

I find that certain chess positions remind me of songs. I hear another one bites the dust, when I get a good windmill going, don't stand so close to me, when a smothered mate is developing, or break on through, when I am creating a passed pawn.
