chess club in Jersey?

Hi all, I am new to the island of Jersey and would love the idea of playing chess over the board.

Is there a chess club that meets regularly? I am based in St Helier

Yes at St Helier Town Hall on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm. Starts up again 2nd week October I think. Runs all year then through to June with very few breaks. There is a swiss competition that runs all year that you can sign up for, friendly games available every week and a few other short competitions including blitz.

It's in the Old Magistrate's court which is entered through a side entrance of the town hall.
