So a private club? That sounds like a good idea.
Club Suggestion
Why does it matter if other people know about it? Its already possible to make club where you have to approve people to join.
Yes. there should also be an option where its invite only (so you can't apply, you have to be invited using the 30 invites a day)
er, if no one knows about it then it would be impossible to enter matches, because everyone would know about it, self defeating you see

Why would we want to play matches?
I dont know if this idea is the best...
but look here... once you disable a club, and go to its members page (saved as a link earlier)
you can view everything from there! You can create forums. news, etc.
https://www.chess.com/clubs/members/disabled-9club - this is a place where you get to see everything and www.chess.com/club/disabled-9club is somewhere you see the club disabled, and get redirected to chess.com/clubs instead.
Now, it doesnt show up in member's club list!
Awesome idea?
I have a suggestion: Can there be an option to make a club that the public cannot see, and people can only find out about it if they are invited?
Or, make an option that prevents people that aren't in the club to see the members in the club. That works too.
How do you know this doesn't exist already and you just haven't been invited to any....
