I recently studied the Caro-kann course on chessly.com and it has the solid lines to play against the fantasy variation along with pretty much all variations. You can get a free trial on it and have a look at the lines if it suites you.
Some information about me can be found on my Chess.com profile. I have been working as a school chess teacher for several years. My FIDE rating is slightly above 2000, so I am not suitable as a coach for advanced players; however, I can be very effective for beginner to intermediate level students.
Hi, I offer online coaching (or offline coaching in Rome) to players rated <1700 in chess.com rapid. My coaching philosophy is mostly similar to that of the steps methods and has a small flavor of the approach of Can Kabadayi (he is a cognitive scientist, and employs the techniques in his teaching). I highly recommend ChessMood and ChessDojo if you are looking for a group of coaches working together online (note: ChessMood is more costly in comparison).
hi ive been playing the latvian gambit is it a good opening? 🤔🤔
No. For your current level, I suggest symmetric defense (1.e4 e5 or 1.d4 d5). You can also try one of the more popular openings [search for solid openings. Example].
