Conventions for AC games

My apologies if this has been established already, but has this group defined any conventions for AC games?

From what I can gather, they need to be unrated (not sure about whether Live-vs-Online makes a difference).

What about time?  Also, how do we indicate that it's an AC game as opposed to a non-AC game?  I don't recall seeing any settings or notes-area when creating a game challenge (but then again I didn't deeply explore).

Make the game name Advanced Chess so we know computer help is allowed. Put it on any time setting you want, as far as I know.

can't be whatever limit - site resricts to max 14 days a move.

I'd like to explore frontiers of some opening line really seriously and at leisure - say 2-3 months a move. May be someone can request erik to fix no-time-limit-upper-bound for unrated; or is there a workaround?

It matters because I think too many timeouts even in unrated games might prevent one from entering tournaments here - maybe clarify with erik.

I am sick, undergoing med tests [heart/chest] - will be here only occasionally for say 10 days or so ...

2-3 months a move is WAY too long. It'll take at least 10 years to finish a game.

3-4 months was just an example. [and the possibility of 3 months/move doesnt mean someone HAS to accept a 3-months/move challenge!]

Point is we can't play longer than 14 days/move even if we want to, as these things stand right now.

Say 300 days total for the first 20 moves [moveblock: it doesnt matter how you divide your time over those 20 moves..] - then 14 (or 7) days per move though i'd like 140 (or 70) days per 10-moves.

At present, can't be done even if both sides are willing.
