I would like to know about the "multi-team players" issue in the preparation round, could you tell me what the conditions are for participating in this stage?

Avatar of Dale00007

It is the same as in WCL/ECL. In one season player can play only for 1 team otherwise all his games will be forfeited. There is grace period of 1 match to cover cases, when he joins some match by mistake, but if he joins other team for the second time, than games are forfeited.

But as this competition cant be added to chessteams.org, checking is not automatic and multiplayer cases have to be reported by admins in the forum.

So, my question is because of the calendar, did the CWC games start already at the end of last year? just like in WCL? Just to know, so I could remove the players that would dispute the matches for my team that could be "multi-players".

It is per season - so CWC2020 has started only now with participation round.
