e5
Does Anyone Know Some Good Openings to Play as Black in Response to 1.e4 ??

Adam, your username literally has a word 'dragon' in it!! You are not allowed to be opposed to the mighty and powerful Sicilian Dragon!!!

I used to play e5 in response to e4, but I decided that was too boring. When I switched to Sicilian, it was good but as I got better I started losing more games.
What other openings do you guys know? I was thinking Caro-Kann or maybe the French? I don't like the Scandinavian because it allows white to gain a huge developmental advantage and if white plays it correctly, white wins.
you could play like alekhine but i don't like that opening because it gives you a developmental advantage
Sicillian Najdorf and the Kings Indian is probably the best openings for Black imo.
Caro-kann is kinda cringe since it's sort of just a weird french.
Scandinavian is bad, it has practically 0 benefits so don't even bother with it.
e5 in response to e4 is not boring. There's many openings in which it can get tricky really quickly (example being maybe the petrosian)
The Sicilian Najdorf is pretty wellknown, I wouldn't say that its the best sicillian ever (Dragon is extremely easy compared to this) but it's far more solid compared to the Dragon, there's a reason after all why the Najdorf is more played than the Dragon.
The King's indian is just easy apparently, it's solid and has a really braindead idea so I would say it's pretty good... I don't play it though.
The Queen's indian attack is an opening I recommend, when I was lower rated (~1000 irl and like 1400 online) I used to play a weird version of the Queen's indian and it was really easy. Now i'm not so sure, but you can try it if you want.
I'll be real... just play the sicillian against e4 because every other opening is pretty lame imo.
