Endgames

Yeah i played black, the winnning strategy starts with 1.a5 b3 2.a6 bxa 3.bxa g4 4.kd6 and black will eventually exchange the e pawn for the c and a pawns and queen the a pawn. I tried something like this in the game, but delayed it too long and ending up getting my king locked out of the position.

An excellent article on endgame strategy : http://www.chess.com/article/view/what-to-trade-in-endgames
Endgames are my weakest point, so this topic will be devoted to instructive endgame positions and themes. Ill start off with a position i reached in one of my recent games where i threw away a win after i simplified everything and ended up with an advantage, but was unable to convert it into a win, and in fact blundered it into a loss.
