Favorite Composer

I would say that Bach is my favourite Composer.  I never get tired of listening to the Brandenburg Concertos, as I find the music both beautiful and inspiring.  In my opinion, the Baroque period (1600-1750) has some of the most memorable music you could ever listen to.

I've heard of and have listenned to JCB.  Have you heard of PDQ Bach???

Ah, yes -- that is one of the most clever commentaries, if you will, on classical music. It's been a long time since I've heard anything by PDQ Bach, but he was quite a riot. Loved him!!

Hey! I just ran down our nice list and see that no one has mentioned Rossini.  He wrote lots of delightful stuff!!! If you'll forgive me, here is a great little link of an example of his lighter music....

Hi,

Now a day i like a lot Lepold Wiess, i think he is very peacefull but finally put some agresive details of the phrase. Really Mozart is great obviously, but i find it, i dont know why something simple, i would like to bo Mozart something good for me but... he doesn`t make me pay atention. Another composer who is very strange and may be dificult to understand is Brahms he es really inteligent.

I LOVE MUSIC...

I'd have to go with Bach, Beethoven, Ravel and Shostakovich, for starters, it's been my Top 4 for quite some time! Smile Liszt would also have to make the liszt, I mean, list Laughing.

P.S. What about Piazzolla? Smile

Mozart, Strauss and Tchaikovsky would be my favourites.  I find I even play chess better with eine kleine nachtmusik playing in the background.
