Although most of the time I listen to a mix of my favorite classical music. But I love shostakovich. Try some of his film music.

Just listening to your La Lyre et la Harpe (Saint Saens).  So far beautiful.  Really enjoying it.

Thanks @Fantasto and I will get to all of them.

I like to relax in the evenings and listen and play chess sometimes.  Sometimes checkers.  Or do other things.

During the day I will often listen to other music.  Classical music in the evenings.  What could be a better way to end a day.

The reason I looked for this club is one of my clubs is playing an ACDC club here and I don’t know much about them and was chastised for it.  This morning I listen to the recommended Highway to Hell.  Didn’t even get through it.  What a nightmare.  I reckon I could write lyrics like that in a very short time.  There is little talent in it IMO.   But appears immensely popular.  I was surprised   I thought they were English.   Apparently Australian.

Maybe I Want Some Lunch instead of Highway to Hell and just a lot of noise and clanging.

I guess if you are a tough yelling rock star you need to sing about Hell and not lunch.

I apologuise to anyone here who likes it.  I certainly didn’t.  Yucky!!!

So was pleased to find a club like this.

Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 is worth a listen. He is late romantic, but if you’re into classical it’s in the same realm.

He is difficult. I like Rachmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto in D minor. The Rustle of Spring by Christian winding is also great. This is a piece I 'm currently learning. Chopin's Etudes and Mendelssohn's songs withou t words are also pretty good.

I like Chopin's Scherzo 1 and 2. Liszt's La campenella (the bell) is also fun to play.
