Feature Requests

Aside from push notification (which still does not work after the update), I'd really like to have the ability to manage my preferences from within the app. Disabling vacation, etc. Also, it would be nice if unrated/Fischer games were actually supported -- I keep timing out in those games since I never log in on a computer, just my phone, and then get put on vacation, which can't be disabled within the app.

Another feature I'd like to see is some sort of video search ability.  There are tons of videos, and I like to kill time when I can watching on my iPhone, but it's especially hard to follow a video series when they're only sorted by date.  

Also having navigation much like the YouTube app would be ideal, with ability to view video detail information, as well as listing other videos by the same author.

Has there been discussion about Chess Mentor for the iPhone? I bought Chess Mentor for PC a long time ago, would pay more to have it on the iPhone. Safari on the iPhone doesnt' really handle the web version of Chess Mentor very well.

Would like the iPhone info bar with WiFi, time and battery life to appear on top. Thanks.

Chess Mentor would be lovely.

On my iPad now, need the following: 1. A back button. When navigating site through the app interface you can't go back, so if I click on someones name I'm stuck. 2. Video: reverse date sort, topical sort, table of contents. There's no way to find all four grunfeld videos for example, besides scrolling through pages by date and hoping I find it. 3. Main page button to play Live Chess. Also need to see it on the same sized board as for turn based chess. 4. Market This App!!! I joined chess.com and bought a premium membership because of it others will too. Get the word out. 5. Need a way to navigate the text box (like the one I'm typing in now) while on iPad. There are no side control/up-down buttons. A. Same is true for navigating computer analysis, if the game went past 20 moves there is no way to scroll down And keep reviewing the moves. 6. Need investors?

Being able to put in conditional moves would be kind of nice.

To be able to play live tournaments from the ipad app

+1 for Chess mentor, actually didn't even consider though that I could do them in my Ipads browser...

It would be great if I would have the choice to send the game to be analyzed from the "game over"-screen. That way I wouldn't have to go the computer to have it sent for analysis.

I would also like to be able to review my analyzed games from the Ipad.

Is there a way to display a unique identifier for the tactics problems in the app? I feel some of them are a bit strange, I.e. the solution to the problem is a position where I'd face check mate after a couple of moves. So it would be nice if one could post the tactic problems in the forums and ask if there is an error in the puzzle or if I just didn't understand it.

I would love to have Chess Mentor on the iPhone app. I would also love to see notifications when a game reaches Checkmate or when my opponent resigns from the game.

I would pay $$$ for Chess Mentor on iPhone!!!

Thanks for great app - 1 request: Possible to copy text recieved in chat! so when someone send you a music link (nice music while playing) you can get it :) and/or make links work (but copy is okay).

I'd like to put in a bid for Vote Chess in the app. Or as step in that direction, could you add message notification to the app with a link through to the Vote Chess home page on the site?

Conditional moves would be awesome.

I second Maximus - that is the one thing I would like changed on the app.  (well, there are many things, but that one things is the biggest suggestion).    Also, as vt said above, having a list of vote chess games you are part of would be really helpful as well.  I spend some time using my app instead of a computer, and I can't contribute to my groups as well because of it.  I would also like the bar at the bottom to include live chess from the get-go when I open the app.  The "more" button is really useful, and there are a bunch of features that you could put under it, but live chess should be on the status bar upon start-up.

oh, I'd like to be ABLE to use my iphone to sign on...be thankful all you that have made comments.

+1 conditional moves, it would really speed up the games and likely enable some tournaments to be completed quicker.

+1 for chess mentor; I exclusively use my iPhone and chess mentor is a real challenge to work with on the small screen within Safari.
