Best way to find diamonds is actually to go caving. Once you get full iron armor, tools, and a shield, you shouldnt die. From there, I cannot stress enough how much easier it is to find diamonds caving than stripmining

Yes, strip mining can work. Diamonds are actually more likely to spawn unexposed, but because caves are so big, it's still usually best to search caves.
BTW the word "founded" is only used when talking about founding a company/country. If you're talking about finding something, it's always "found."

In my opinion if you are in 1.17 or lower best method is strip mining but if you are in 1.18 or above then the crazy cave generation is going to give you far more diamonds than strip mining even if the veins aren’t that big. Usually up you’re just going to get 1 or 2 veins but with the giant caves those really start to add up

Also if you decide to strip mine in 1.17 it’s y 11 or 5 and in 1.18 it’s y -58 or -59

And if you are playing in 1.17 then if you find lapis lazuli make sure you’re facing north, go 4 blocks from the lapis vein and dig straight down. Most of the times it will result in DIAMONDS

In my world I have full diamond armor and tools and leftover 31 diamond just from going to the B E E E G caves

The thing is, that before trying strip mining, I tried caving with my brother, we bouth died 10 times each and it was not woth it.
