The thing is, that before trying strip mining, I tried caving with my brother, we bouth died 10 times each and it was not woth it.
I recommend you get full iron armor before going caving because iron is very easy to find

Make sure the cave goes down to lava level which is -54. There diamonds will spawn like crazy. Also when you enter the cave make sure it’s going deeper and becoming larger as you go otherwise the chances of diamonds are close to 0
When you see the stone turn into deep slate (the darker stone) that’s a sign you’re close to diamond
Yeah, but I think I am going with strip mining because it's much safer and dying is so frustating for me.
Actually, if you strip mine, there’s a high chance you run into lava lakes and if you don’t react fast or don’t pay attention you will die and all your diamonds will burn in the lava
