Game Rules

Can we play these on chess.com?
We could do it! I bought a physical Colour Chess and could take a photo after each move. But I would only moderate 1 game at a time. Maybe someone else bought a Colour Chess and could also moderate with photos?

And as I just discovered, with the physical Colur Chess I could also construct the variant "SER CHESS Sierpinski-Einstein-Rosen" and as a moderator insert a photo after each move. I love this center-free variant!

Looking good!
We've got a page on Colour Chess variations here:https://www.dogearedgames.com/colourchess/variations/
We've had to tweak rules slightly to match the oddities of some variants (like with bughouse), but often overlaying the colour rules works out of the box.
Have you got a link to the bulldog rules?

You can find the rules for Bulldog Chess here:

I'm honestly impressed myself of how good the diagram above looks. Before I added the borders for the squares I didn't really like it, but the borders made a big difference, imo.

rychessmaster1 and me are playing a game here:

The manual with all rules for colour chess can be found here (also available in German here).
As two pieces move every turn, you are allowed to stay in or move into check during your turn and the game is only over once a King is actually captured.
Note: Castling is allowed - it functions as normal except you can move into and through check. It is triggered by the colour the King moves to when it moves towards the Rook. En Passant also holds true and is valid from whenever the Pawn is moved forward two spaces, until the end of the next player's turn.
That means if you check on your first move, you can capture the king on your second move?

Yes, And the goal of the game is to capture the enemy king, not checkmate.

You can, but remember you can't move the same piece twice in a turn.
To get check and King capture in one turn, you'd need to have a threat already lined up but with a friendly piece blocking the attack line. You then use the first part of the turn to move your blocking piece (if they're foolish enough to give you that colour), then capture with the other piece.
