Have you read and understood the rules? At this point I would not be surprised if you didn't know the game ends with king capture and that there are no check/checkmate.

Martin, this is absolutely great what you've done and I am thrilled!!!

I have two questions:

  1. How did you make this fantastic beautiful colour chess diagram? Do you have Bulldog colour chess templates for Paint and can you make a link for it? That would be great!
  2. You made a randomized board? Here I'm not sure if it's always fair. Could there be an advantage for White or Black? Or you always make two games in parallel, and then both have the same Chance? Maybe a symmetrical pattern would be balanced, but the randomized colour board is really a lot of fun and looks wonderful!

@McGoohan, thanks, I am developing a diagram editor. There are some stuff I want to do before making it publicly available, but I can post a template below. If you want to play, I would gladly provide diagrams though.

The board is randomized to have the same amount of the same colors on each board half (or as close to the same as possible). For example in this game there are 7 yellow squares on each side, while there are 7 red squares on my side and 6 red squares on ry's side.

It is basically the same as the random setup on the color chess app. Of course it can give a player an advantage, but it has proven to be quite fair to me. The randomness has not at all made it feel annoying to climb the leaderboard, at least for me.
