Hi guys! Here’s a terrible game (and I mean terrible) against a 1400. I’m putting this in this forum because it’s probably one of the worst performances I’ve ever had lol. Somehow I won and it resulted in my best ever win. How???

I was wondering what was so wrong with the game, until I saw the endgame. Both of you could do with some revising of basic endgame technique lol

Ah I know. I suck at endgames to be honest. But in my defence I played this when I was tired + tilted so if I wasn’t I probably would have found some moves but not all.

i also suck at endgames so much, especially with pieces, rooks, bishops, knights, etc

Hi everyone. I kind of feel bad for my opponents since I flagged two of them in completely lost positions. However, I guess time is a major part of chess. My opponents played well though, and definitely deserved the win.

My best win ever! First takedown of a 2000+ rated player and it was in today's tournament no less! This last year I've been trying to be better about consistent practice and that netted me several IRL tournament wins, a surge in rating, and now this! Really happy with how the game went as well as I've been looking for a weapon against the Sicilian. I got an old 2. f4 book and have been messing with those ideas.

I had a weird queen trap in the KID:
