So I created an alternative account to practice and I obliterated a higher rated person, I got a rating so much higher than I have on my main account.

I feel happy, maybe I am indeed underrated. This only motivates more lml

and yeah, the "types of players" is bs, people should play what's best in the position and if that's opening up the position and arriving at sharp and tactical setups then that's what any gm would do hahaha.

OTB rapid game from mid-May while rather ill. Opponent resigned move 18/19 but its forced mate so added the rest in . Short game certainly helped!

So nice to win against an Evans Gambit as playing 3.Bc5 rather than 3.Nf6 you need to be ready for it (at the benefit of not having to learn 4.Ng5 yet!).

Fun little OTB game I played at the Chicago Open last week. Despite the long time control, I thought this sacrifice made for an interesting game.

I feel so bad for my opponent but this was hilarious🤣

funnily enough I have seen that happen in classical, exactly the same idea instead of a rook, a queen was being sacrificed for the stalemate, a 2000 Fide blundered that against a CM, so he lost a chance to beat his first titled player, this tactic is obvious when you are thinking, but in this position a lot of people just goes autopilot, and they blunder this type of tricks

Alien Gambit is one of my favourite responses against Caro-Kann, the only reason I stopped playing it so frequently was because after a long time of playing always Alien Gambit against Caro-Kann I had no line against Caro-Kann anymore, because it is really nice for rapid and blitz but it is crazy for Classical unless you are WittyAlien. So I got the line I showed in my video and I am trying to play it always to train more with it, but sometimes I just play Alien Gambit just because it is so fun
