..Going to leave THE Red Army TEAM if i dont receive any reasonable clarification for deleting my thread ... ...Do you think that i am a cheater :)) ..which was published in our Team Forum in 01/01/2010 ..

..leaving the group dont mean any offend ..it will be an objection for deleting my thread without even informing me about that..

..i am not going to represent a team which dont respect his members...

..wishing all the best for our respectable team ..& for his admins & members..

You are just being too emotional.  As for your forum that was deleted, what purpose it it served.  You posted it around 2 weeks back.  I believe you have got the answer or those who wanted to post have posted.  You yourself should know whether you cheated or not.  Dont let it get into your head.  I did let someone get into my head & it took some time to recover.

BTW Admins reserves the right to delete a post without further reference.  They allowed it to be here for more than 1 week right.  That is good enough.

I believe they respected you & your forum before deleting it after around 1 week.  If you think otherwise, so be it.  You are entitled to your opinion & so am I.

Manchero

Haddad, it is a fair comment and the removal of your thread was in no way intended to upset you. I deleted the thread since, at a time when members have not started new forums very often, it remained in the top 5 threads for any group members who wished to view the group forums.

The thread was in fact over, to be honest. EternalHope and myself posted in support of yourself, to suggest that there was no reason to believe you had been cheating. Other than that there were no comments, largely because the topic of cheating has been discussed so many times and other members no longer have an interest in discussing it. Additionally, nobody had a reason to add to the forum as presumable nobody had reason to answer 'yes' to the question you originally posted.

The link that your thread contained, didn't work (presumably(??) because that other thread had been deleted, as public discussion of cheating is against site rules due to the disruption it causes). The posting of 'do you think I cheated?', 'I didn't cheat' and 'Member X cheated' are against site rules because they cause problems and solve none unfortunately. If you think somebody cheated, report them to staff. If someone accuses you of cheating, report the to staff...that's it. If you are accused, the accuser will be warned by staff over future conduct, and banned themselves if they continue. Cheats, well they may not be banned at first, since evidence needs to be gathered (more so if they are paying members due to potential legal consequences...can it be 100% proven they broke terms and conditions by cheating, etc.,) but eventually they are always banned.

Overall, admins have to determine what we think is going to interest members, create further interest, and generally benefit the group. Where something has not attracted any comments other than the opening post and admin posts, it is likely to be deleted after a relatively short time. The consequece of our forums containing threads such as; '...do you think i cheated?' and 'i am leaving this group' are more likely to encourage people to turn off their group alerts and stop reading our forums, which is something that people have complained about. Our active members generally wanted a more positive tone within the group pages, and as a result that is what we now offer them.

Hopefully this addressed the opening post fully. To clarify, threads that have not proven to be of interest to group members are frequently removed, sometimes 1 or 2 at a time, or sometimes 20 at a time in a forum 'spring clean'. It helps people navigate the lists of previous content, which has articles, puzzles, video links, etc., which we want people to find more easily due to their value in helping members improve.

Haddad, if you did not understand all that, let me put in briefly: You thought you cheated. But in truth, you did not cheat. We loved you and therefore kindly removed the thread because you are not cheating; you are an honest chess player whom we appreciate. We removed the thread because of that and because people might then accuse you to be a cheat.

VuduChile

I believe he left already and may not get the benefit of your comments, may someone copy this to him in a message?

JagdeepSingh

I have asked him to re-join & check out his last forum here.  He declined saying that he is not interested in group where its members are not respected.  He got angry that someone deleted his forum without informing him.

..my dear brother of course i am sure that no body can accuse me for being a cheater as i asked for a link to prove this cheating :)) ...this link cant be found as i didnt cheat in any game i played on this site ..

..this thread was published in the main forum to give any attention to a very dangerous cheater which may destroy the whole site & inspite of reporting him to the staff several times they didnt take any action to stop his very dirty & obvious ways of cheating ..

..I published this thread in all the great groups i play with (like Chess Unlimited ...Chess Association...Christian Chess World...etc)..& still this thread existing there as they clearly know that i m publishing it for an important reason knowing that i am an experinced man who knows what & why he is doing that ...

..Please follow this link to know why i was accusing myself to be a cheater ..

Manchero

Welcome back Maher.

You are very welcome here Smile

(I didn't realise alerts were sent when forums were removed, maybe a new feature, so in future whenever anything is deleted we will send a message to courteously inform members of why. Sorry for causing any problems for anyone by not doing so previously...my mistake.)

Manchero

The line at the bottom of my post was unintentional...is it chess.com asking us to 'draw a line under it' ?

Foot in mouth Bad I know...send all complaints regarding poor quality attempts at humour to VuduTheModChile

VuduChile

One note Maher... "dear Manchero" isn't half as pretty as "her" photo

Since no one pointed out that "she" is a HE.

haddad56

...well :)) .... Manchero is really & greatly a very respectable dear super-admin for me .. i applied to join the Red Army for the lovely spirit & kindness of Manchero ...so whatever was her or his sex this absolutely makes no difference for me...

xandy71
