Hard Reset fix

Like a calibration, only it's not the 1st time you've used the board.

Turn board off, remove pieces. Now press ON/OFF button for 15-20 seconds, until the squares stop flashing. Reset now completed, now perform the proper startup process.

Would you suggest doing this on a regular basis? 

Perhaps every time you go to use the board? It seems simple enough that a hard reset/calibration before use might make sense. 

I wanted to add, in addition to doing the calibrate, you may want to reboot your phone/tablet as well.  I was playing with mine tonight, ran into issues not recognizing any the pieces after doing the calibration Andre setting u and starting a game. This was with both DGT app and White Pawn (both on iOS).  Rebooted my phone (iPhone 12 pro, with iOS 15.3) and this corrected my issue.
