How to exit chats

Hey guys. For some reason, I want to exit the private chats with my friends. But I don't think there is any way to do so. So Chess.com community members, can you make any new feature to enable that. It would do me some favour, at the least.

Can't you press the x in the upper right?

That removes the chat from the screen, but it doesn't permanently go away. You will still receive notifications when they send another chat message.

Yeah. And also, there should be a way to invite members in group chats, because then you would have to start a new one

Thanks guys, removing the chat from the list is ticketed. Of course if someone you chatted with writes you again, it will reappear. Same will be for group and direct chat.

Sorry, expanding groups is not on the roadmap for now; once you create it its final. Club chats will be much more flexible.

@CaptainMarvelGirls12 current implementation once you close the chat is keeping it under "Chat" tab and will move it to Inactive chats list if you are not using it. 

We are discussing the ability to remove it from the list totally.
